As we were applying glue to the back of the border, we discovered that one of the two spools was cut and taped together. About 4 feet into the spool, we found pieces of paper taped together! Upon closer look, we realized that the top of the border was cut off, making the border unusable. Then, we flipped it over to see the pattern and realized that the two pieces of wallpaper that were taped together were totally different patterns. Needless to say, I was furious at the poor quality and called to complain. They had horrible customer service and didn't offer any explanation for TAPING TWO DIFFERENT PATTERNS together, then re-sealing it and selling it as a complete spool. My redecorating project is now behind schedule due to their mistake, and they are doing nothing to compensate me for it. I spoke to a customer service rep and a manager. A senior manager above them has yet to return my phone call. Both employees just repeated the same standard lines and didn't offer any explanation for the blatant defect, nor an apology for now having to reschedule several contractors based on their error. Be warned of this..their customer service is awful and they don't even seem to give it a second thought that they sold a product that was so obviously defected.
