One of the appliances I refuse to live without is my dishwasher. With a family of five, the dishes can get dirty really fast, and when you have children that would use a separate dish for each item if they could (you know food cant touch dont you?), and seldom even consider rinsing a glass and using it again, the dirty dishes could stack up to a mountainous level if it werent for my dishwasher running overtime. Even so, there have always been some dishes that had to be pre-washed, like week-old pasta sauce in Tupperware containers (courtesy of my husband), and my daughters morning oatmeal bowl. Have you ever wondered what oatmeal does to your stomach if it turns to cement in a bowl? I dont think I want to know, but I bet you could stucco the outside of your house with this stuff and once its dry it would last a lifetime and probably add an insulation value as well! So, no matter what claims dishwasher detergent makers make, I usually just shake my head and say, Lies, all lies, and go back to pre-washing my dishes. Then came Electrasol 2 in 1 Tabs with Jet-Dry PowerBall.
Electrasol has always been my dishwasher detergent of choice. I have found it to be the most reliable, hardest working detergent of all the brands Ive tried. Even so, I was still pre-washing protein smoothie glasses (a cement like substance), and oatmeal bowls (stucco in disguise). Then I received a free box of Electrasol 2 in 1 Tabs with Jet-Dry PowerBall in the mail. Dont ask me where it came from, and Im sure not going to look a gift horse in the mouth! Electrasol claims that this new detergent has an advanced design, two in one so to speak. Because of the Jet-Dry PowerBall it has improved rinse performance and reduced spotting. Because of the way these tabs are put together, the rinse agents last into the rinse cycle. Where they should be working.
What you have is an individually packaged tab, with a white outer layer, a blue inner layer, and that pearly ball of Jet-Dry nestled in the centre. The white layer is the super-concentrated detergent that Electrasol claims will remove even the toughest stains and will gently scrub your dishes, leaving them sparkling clean. The blue layer is an effervescent, fast dissolving cleaning agent that is supposed to naturally break down those nasty foods such as spaghetti sauce and oatmeal. In the centre is that ball of Jet-Dry, which is a rinsing agent that is touted to improve rinse performance and reduce spotting.
Just pop a pre-measured tab into the main dishwasher detergent dispenser, close it, and run your dishwasher. Electrasol 2 in 1 Tabs with Jet-Dry PowerBall are safe for septic systems, so that isnt a worry for anyone who has a septic system. The tabs dissolve completely, no muss, no fuss, no measuring or scooping powder or liquid. And how do the dishes come out? Clean! I have been pleasantly surprised by Electrasol 2 in 1 Tabs with Jet-Dry PowerBall. My dishes, pots, pans and all, are clean without pre-washing, there are no spots on my glasses, and even the oatmeal is gone!
