*LOL* well I hardly ever remove toe nail polish because no one sees them but 4 or 5 months a year, :)
Thanks for reading and commenting.

Little Did I Know... (Reply to this comment)
by stroupis
Little did I know that there was so much more to nail polish remover than I realized. I have always been the kind of person who paints over her chipped toenails until I have a thick layer of polish on them, at which point I usually pick off the polish (yes, it's gross). I think I may be inspired to get some nail polish remover, and paint my nails correctly.

Actually... (Reply to this comment)

this could be very helpful for non-girly girls who suddenly find themselves with painted nails -- sort of like a tattoo after a drunken revelry or something, except REMOVABLE. You did a great job writing about this. It really isn't so stupid... Kristin

Re: Another+tip Great TIP! (Reply to this comment)
by jro26
Yes that is a GREAT TIP! Especially for people who do extra coats of color, that can take a lot of rubbing if doing it with the plain ol remover. Thanks for reading and commenting and adding a tip I forgot to mention!
Jo-Thanks for reading and commenting...and yes of course it is a stupid topic! That's why I wrote on it, LOL.

Come on Steve! (Reply to this comment)

We're not talking about building a house! It's a base and GET IT RIGHT! LOL. Just teasing you Steve...again :O)
I really spend little to no time on my nails, usually just a clear coat to keep them protected and strengthen them. That way you can't tell when the polish chips off...because it's CLEAR!! Genius idea I know :OP

Do you have to apply a foundation when applying nail polish? See? That's how much I know about nail polish and nail polish removers!

Another tip (Reply to this comment)
by lynnzop
Great writing...here's another tip for the crowd. For cleaning my fingernails (doesn't work too well for toenails), I pour small amount of polish remover from the bottle into the cap and "soak" each nail separately prior to scrubbing off the polish with a cotton ball. Helps to loosen the polish and it comes off a little easier!
Thanks for an informative essay!
