Free Internet in Vancouver, Canada

The Bottom Line In Vancouver, your best bets for free isp's are Juno and Funcow.

I have been using free internet in Vancouver for over one year now. There have been some changes lately in the availability of some isp's, and some have gone out of business(such as Freewwweb and Spinway)

The isp that I primarily use is Juno.com's banner-ad sponsored program. I connect nearly every first try with Juno at a 49k speed, and they provide unlimited hours.

Funcow used to be my 2nd choice, but they upgraded the software, and I now have problems connecting. This could be a problem with just my computer, so I'd still recommend Funcow.com's unlimited internet time.

Netzero is offered for Vancouver too. However, I found this program to be very offensive as it constantly installs software w/o asking! (for example something called SurfSafari) Furthermore, they only offer a certain number of hours a month, so you can become disconnected near the end of the month when you use up all of your hours.

I have installed both UPath and Excite's free internet programs, but I have failed to connect to these providers in the last few months.

So, if you don't mind shuffling a banner-ad around your screen while surfing, free internet is still readily available in Vancouver!
