Hi again! I suppose I'm reluctant to delete the first one because it shows the 'genesis' of an epinions writer - also - and I know this sounds strange - it would be like deleting a part of ME. It was part of my learning process.
Like I said, I'm still relatively new here - I have seen others write more than one essay on the same topic - is this a bad thing, if they are completely different? Would it be useful for people (particular 'new' folks) to see the difference between the two? Or is it only vanity that keeps it hanging on?
I don't have all the answers, but there you are.
Arthur, I really do appreciate your taking the time on this. It's great to know that most of the community really cares.

Well, I consider it abuse, but you really didn't say much in the first review. You'll note that this review has gotten (so far) all Very Helpfuls, while the first review was mostly Helpful. Perhaps you should delete the first review.

Hi - I wasn't trying to abuse anything - I have seen others write more than once on the same topic (see gun control) - and I did happily admit that I had written on the topic before - also, I'd recently bought a machine (sadly, there's no topic for the specific machine I bought, as it's English). For me it's interesting to compare the two, and it might be informative for new folks here as well.
What's the consensus folks - should the first effort be offed - should it go to the great epinions in the sky? I am willing to be guided here!
Truly, though, no intent to scam intended (besides, hardly anyone read the first effort). Remember, I'm unlikely to ever be able to redeem this century (I need $100) - so I'm not in this for the dosh!
I look forward to hearing your views - over to you, guys!

Now, if you'll please delete your earlier review (and update this one to reflect that fact), you'll do fine. Some people might think that you were abusing the Epinions system.
Personally, I think it would have been better if you had updated your earlier review in this topic than to write a new review, but....
