In a nutshell:
- Thief 3 provides best AI and greatest freedom of all Thief games (according to the manufacturer). It may also be safe to claim best graphics as well.
- In comparison to Splinter Cell, Thief offers a first person view as well as everything said regarding older versions of Thief. (Missions are in SC are very streamlined in comparison to Thief and AI is more predictable too.) Splintercell isn't as much of a resource hog as Thief 3 and can be played on lesser systems.

I rated this H instead of VH because I'd like to know more about how it stacks up to its predecessors and to comparable games like Splinter Cell. Otherwise a great review.

Let me know how it worked out. (I am sure a few laptops will run the game despite Eidos' explicit statement that no laptop is supported.)

I was going to buy a laptop this year and make sure I was able to put Thief 3 on it. I'll make sure it has Pixelshader 1.1 technology.
