Pros: Prints, scans and faxes quick, reads a lot of common media cards.
Cons: Software, software, software. Slowwww bootups/shutdowns after loading.
The Bottom Line: If your patient on your Bootup and shutdowns, this printer will do the job it says it will do. I would not purchase again untill HP got the software right.

I bought this printer because of its networking abilities with my wired/wireless network. The 2510 has its ups and downs. I use a linksys wireless router using the DHCP and the 2510 in wired and wireless mode, worked with no intervention, and worked quite well. The printing is crisp and colors seem to be right on the money. Scanning is quick, however the editing software is hard to use. I ended up using office 2003 to scan pictures, etc. I have used the fax several time and very very easy to use. The card reader had glitches, until I went to hp's website to get the software update which is huge, don't download unless you have highspeed. Software loading was easy, however, this software slows your system to a craw esp on boot up and shutdown. I have 2 top of the line systems with 512 meg of ram and it surprised me how much resources are used to get this software kicked off. If you have a slow machine, get ready for some painful bootups and shutdowns in XP professional. My 2 machines went from less than a minute bootups/shutdowns to 3 minute bootup/shutdowns. I called HP support (Long Distance) to ask for just a driver for the networked printer and they said the entire software package has to be loaded. If you can stomach slow bootups and shutdowns, then this machine is for you. I bought this from Staples, because my Staples will price match internet prices of local competitors (compusa) plus 10%. Does the product do what it says it will do? For me YES. Is the product easy to use? In most cases YES. Would I buy the product again? Not unless the software changed.
