Within the last month I joined E-bay and I am already addicted. The step by step set-up is so easy especially for computer illiterate people like me. After that, I began to browse around and found it pretty easy to find everything that I was looking for. I'm still looking for a Doug Brown hockey jersey.(if anyone out there can help) The prices are reasonable both in finding and E-bay itself.
The thing to look out for is all the writing in the sale itself. I like paying by money order and I won an auction and the only method of payment was credit card. I got through that but you gotta read the print and not assume. Another thing that I messed up on was when I sold my first item. I went to the post office and I sent it the cheapest way. That way it took up to 3 weeks to get there. My mistake. I felt so bad.
I recommend that if you bid and win on a few things to keep them all separate because it will get confusing. Also, keep in touch with the people you buy and sell from. That way you know what's going on and that you don't get negative feedback.
I think E-bay works. I find things cheaper there. I also find things I can't normally find around town.
I recommend E-bay to anyone, even the computer illiterate like me. It's easy.
