I must admit I bought this CD without even hearing one song. I was suckered by pure star power. I got lucky though. I really do love this record. I am a push-over for the kind of huge hooks found here, especially when well thought out harmonies are backing them up.
This is one of those rare albums where the first time you hear it you swear that you have heard it a hundred times before. The hooks are, well, predictable. But being the big sap that I am, I eat it up.
I loved the review! I privately give it 5 stars, but would only give it 4 publicly out of fear that serious music critics might make fun of me... :-)
