The Bottom Line: For small cheap speakers, these have no drawbacks: they are powerful, with clear sound, good base, and stylish.

I needed speakers that would play good music with or without strong base, that would look good on my desk, and that would not cost much. These speakers turned out to fulfill my needs completely; in fact, they can handle higher volume than I expected, but they also work well when the music is played very quietly. I selected them partly because of the wide frequency range, and, again, I was Not disappointed. If your computer's color is white, they will stay beautifully on your desk. They take a little too much surface area on the plot, though, and could have been a little smaller in size, but I guess that this is necessary for the sound quality. Before that I had $10 speakers that were not at all satisfactory; these $20 speakers were above my expectations. I think it is worth the ten dollars.
