Pros: Great suction at first.
Cons: Doesn't work for long.
The Bottom Line: Do not buy this vacuum. You will waste your money and soon end up buying another.

My husband bought this vacuum when I was on bedrest with twins. When I was up and about again, I was a little dismayed that it was so heavy. I had to ask my husband to take it up and down the stairs for me (sometimes I had to wait days), but the suction was so good, I was willing to deal with it. Well, I just bought a new vacuum today and I had the Fantom for less than a year. What a waste of money!!! The thing started breaking after about 6 months. Sometimes it would just cut off in the middle of vacuuming. Sometimes it worked in one position and not in others. I believe I spent more time mollycoddling this thing than I did my newborn babies - just so it would finish whatever job I'd started. EuroPro was no help. They wanted me to pay to mail this heavy thing to NY, and then they wouldn't guarantee that they could fix it. I'd end up paying more than the price of it (in postage). My husband worked on it as much as he could, but finally nothing he did could get it started again. When it was shooting sparks, we took it to a repair shop, which said they hadn't been able to fix any of the many Fantoms which had come in. I left the stupid thing there. Don't buy this vacuum!!!
