Hi Bob,
No, and I thought about talking about potassium chloride concerns but since I am not a health professional or chemist, I decided I better not try to get into this since that is not my area of expertise.
Using this product in a water softener is really different than taking for example oral potassium tablets.
Good question and concern though.

This is a very good review but I was wondering if the package (bag) mentioned any health concerns from the potassium. Although potassium (like its chemical cousin, sodium) is necessary for health, it's possible to get too much of a good thing, and I thought the body tolerated potassium less easily than sodium. Is there any mention of this?
