Pros: Inexpensive, washable, reusable, fits well and stays in place better then other earplugs.
Cons: Non so far
The Bottom Line: They are the best fitting, reusable earplugs that I have ever used. I have tried many different brands but I keep coming back to the E-A-R Classics.

| vtm1's Full Review: E-A-R Classic PVC Foam Ear Plugs (NRR 29) |
After shooting hand guns and shotguns over the past 6 years I have come to appreciate good ear protection. I have tried many different ear plugs: Aearo, ao, 3M, Howard leight, moldex, peltor and paramex. All of which work well at reducing noise, however I have to constantly re-adjust the ear plugs.
The best earplugs for me are the E-A-R Classic because they are not cone shaped, are easily shaped and stay in place in my ears. Tapered or cone shaped earplugs do not seat properly in my ears and easily become loose. When earplugs become lose they lose their noise dampening qualities. Additionally, some of the cone shaped earplugs can actually come out of your ear if they get wet, thus rendering them ineffective.
My wife likes them too because she can sleep through my snoring and they dont come out at night.
The E-A-R Classics are low cost at about $0.15 per pair and a box of 200 is about $28.00. They come in 3 sizes, Amigo (small) rated at NRR 33dB, Classic or medium NRR 29dB and Grande or large also rated at NNR 29dB. Each size can come with or with out a cord.
So far I have not found anything that I don't like about the E-A-R Classic earplugs. I can reuse then over and over, they are washable and are at the higher range for sound reduction for earplugs.
NOTE: I don't recommend using just earplugs in an indoor rage. Use noise dampening ear muffs because indoor ranges are louder then outside ranges. Ear muffs are better for indoor ranges because they cover the entire ear and behind the ear (where you can still receive sound). Therefore eliminating more sound. I use earplugs and ear muffs for indoor ranges. However for outdoor shooting earplugs are fine.
