Hi everyone...yup still here after all these years, yup buck naked but tastefully so - really. And we've been in the mountains for a week so please forgive my negligence in r/r. I'm working on it as hubby drives. Off to CA from AZ. It's 106 degrees. jo

Loved The Title..... (Reply to this comment)
by ruby950
and you are so brave. No way in hell would I get buck naked in front of strangers! And I guess I would have missed out on a gratifying experience.
The prices certainly were cheap, weren't they?
Hope you are having a good time!

When planning our trip to Hotsprings, I went internet shopping for spas in order to get a couples massage scheduled. The Bathhouse thing came up and My hubby & I were too weirded out about the whole idea. When I went to one website there was a guy in a tub & another guy standing beside the tub rubbing the bather's shoulders. Once my hubby saw that it was outta the question ha ha ha. Glad it you guys were ache free afterwards even if it was only temporary.
Isn't it just beautiful there?
Great review!

and haven't yet been to Hot Springs. (We usually leave Arkansas for vacations :)
I have been planning on going there, and will definitely give this place a try if I do. Maybe the wait won't be so long in the off season :)
Thanks.

Sounds like a really unique experience....the steam machine with your head sticking out reminds me of an old I Love Lucy episode!! Sounds good to me except for the lack of AC during the treatments...living in Florida all of my life, I have no patience for heat and humidity (I guess I need to move elsewhere!)
Enjoyed your review!!!

Saratago Springs? That's the one I was thinking of looking into. It's not around the corner but it is at least in the Northeast. I see a lot of dead sea stuff sold at malls and wondered if it actually helps. It sounds like it might from what you say. I might just buy some. I guess it makes sense - if one things these minerals work though I don't know if they have any lasting affects but so what even if they relieve symptoms for awhile..thanks for r/r/c..jo

Sounds Interesting... (Reply to this comment)

Hi Jo,
It sounds like quite an experience. The massage and the hot spring bath... =) I might find myself feeling a little awkward in one of these places. =)
Upstate near the town I used to live in, there is a "sulfur spring" area that has some very old historical bath houses. I have NEVER gone to any of these, the Jewish people from NYC usually go up there for the summers. I just get the idea that these places are not real clean and therefore would never try it.
My sister however has been to Israel and has been swimming in the dead sea. The minerals really do help what ails you!
Great Review.... It sounds very interesting!

Even with the minor little flaws you mentioned, this sounds wonderful. I would love to do something like this.
Great detailed review.
