Fuller's Proud Flagship: London Pride

Great for quaffing, great for pounding the jar on the table, and never gets in the way by being too assertive. Divinely subtle and tasty.

ESB not being here baffles me. I'm very pleased to see the 1845, but... What's up, guys?

The missing link that amazes me is Spaten. How can you have beer reviews and NOT have the King of Oktoberfest? Unbelievable!
Thanks for the comments,

I tried this a while ago, but wasn't really active on epinions, so didn't post. I always find it surprising that some products don't get listed, but really when Fuller's is already here how difficult can it be to add the London Pride underneath it.

I've seen a few reviews of English beers imagining sitting back and drinking in an English pub, but most exports are not good examples of pub beers. For me though it doesn't get much closer than London Pride. I particularly like the expression 'session beer', might have to us that in future.

Great review of a beer that deserves its own spot on epinions. ESB seems to be missing as well. I may be wrong but I believe London Pride is named after a red flowering plant of the same name that was strong enough to survive London's pollution.

Great beer, great review

Thanks, and... sorry!
It's been years since I'd had any London Pride. Used to drink it a lot, then started running into a bunch of really nasty, badly kept beer, and stopped drinking it. This one was superb; I'll have to treat myself to some more!

Great review on a great beer.
I lived in the UK for some time until recently and find myself missing the pubs and GREAT beers (Stouts, bitters and real ales most of all).
Thanks and keep it up.
