A must have.

Pros:Easy to use, free with TurboTax Deluxe
Cons:Only one state is free, have to pay extra for each additional one
The Bottom Line: If you've paid $30-40 for TurboTax Deluxe, why not grab a free TurboTax State from the shelf next to it?

I bought TurboTax State because it was free (after mail-in rebate) with TurboTax Deluxe.

It works only with TurboTax federal. You cannot install or uninstall the state software without doing so with the federal one. All interface is exactly the same as with the federal program. The transition from federal to state is smooth. I did not have any problems with it, although other people in epinions reported troubles.

You will fill out whatever it asks you and it creates all necessary forms. It also asked me something about municipal taxes, but for some reason, it did not produce anything that I could send to my local tax agency.

I need to file tax return forms to more than one state. And here's the problem. To do that I need to call the company for a number, with which I would be able to download forms for an additional state. It would cost me ~$20. I think, it is unfair. I would rather grab a pencil and fill out the form by myself.

What else? I've written pretty much everything in my review of TurboTax Deluxe. Here I just want to remind not to leave your final tax form file on the hard drive. Keep it on a floppy or zip disc (or burn it on a CD, if you like), just don't let anybody steal your sensitive information. Work with your taxes off-line. Good luck!
