The Bottom Line Indian Classical music has the charm to soothe even the savage beast.

India is the home land of numerous castes, tribes and communities living together in mutual harmony for ages now. Unity in diversity is the main characteristic of this world's second largest populas country.

India classical music is totally different from its western counterparts. The main two musical trend of India are:

@ Indian Classical
@ Karnataki

I personally attended the show of world's re-known sarood mestro, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, accompanied by his two sons Aaman and Aayan, both are up coming sarood player, under the able guidance of their world famous father and of course their teacher, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan.

The show was held in Pune, the cultural capital of Maharashtra, which is 4/5 hours journey from "Mumbai", the capital of Maharashtra and the busiest metropolitan city of India. The venue of the show was at Bal Gandharb Rangmanch in the heart of Pune city.

The auditorium was jam packed and both father and sons pair spell-bound the audience by their soothing performance and the audience was left carving for more. For the pleasure of the crowd that gathered to listen the father and sons pair, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan also played some popular bollywood numbers which made the crowd go crazy with joy.

Ustadji also explained the essence of Indian Classical music comparing its western counterpart and completed his almost 3.45 hours of high voltage performance with the cheers of the gathered crowd asking for more.
