Star Magazine may not exactly shine when it comes to commendable literature, but it definitely sizzles when it comes to gossip.

Generally, people who read any gossip column or magazine know to take what they read with a pinch of salt, so don't expect all these late-breaking stories to be true. In fact, all of them are truthfully degenerate in one way or another.

Once again, let us remember, we turn to these magazines for entertainment! And Star Magazine is definitely entertaining. You can always expect new pictures of the hottest and most famous stars in the business today, sometimes looking ugly, and sometimes looking great. It's always a treat to see what your favorite stars look like when they are not in front of the camera, whether it is Mariah Carey lounging poolside in Capri, Christian Slater carrying his kid across the street, or Brad Pitt and Jennifer Anniston on a night out on the town.

Always winners within the magazine are the categories, "Star Shots", featuring the coolest candids of your favorite stars on the streets, "Star People", which concisely dishes out all the hot gossip on dozens of today's stars, and "Star Fashion", which keeps you up to tab with who is wearing what and who needs to be wearing more.

For cheap thrills and to kill some boredom, Star is perfect.
