| irule669's Full Review: ATI TV Wonder |
I got this for my birthday a few months ago. After a few tries to get it in correctly, i finally got it working without a hitch. The installation was a little tedious, especially since the drivers took so long to extract from CD. When I got it into recording mode, I recorded a half hour show, and my computer crashed before i got it saved. It takes a little tinkering to get it working perfectly. For me, I had to take out Riven to get this to work perfect. As someone said before, this is much of a memory hog. ATI should have been a little wiser and added an ASF codec, it saves space and gives really good quality. Oh well, that just means we have to do it manually using Windows Media Encoder or something like that. Well, Here's MY Bottom Line
______________
DON'T get this board if you want it for high end stuff like presentations, or business recordings
DO get this board if you want to goof around and watch tv at work on your computer. (If your boss asks, I never said this.)
