IPA is a style quickly growing in appreciation, but few understand its history. Also two different versions seem to be growing on each side of the Atlantic.

An extremely thorough and interesting review.

The British beer market is changing. Pubs are still extremely popular but have declined over the last few years. The bottled beer market has increased dramatically over the past few years, largely thanks to Tesco's (our biggest supermarket) and as a consequance brewers are getting more inventive.

What a well-researched, thorough review! I knew IPAs distinctive flavor came from more hops... even knew the origin of the name... but this review really filled in a lot of gaps in my knowledge.

Nice work.

and a nice job. however, I enjoy Goose Island's IPA and would be interested in what you think about it. Let me know if you end up reviewing it.

Good going Andrew!

I appreciate the very flattering shout-out on your profile page, but must blush that it is over-much.

Congratulations, too, on getting added to Leah's web of trust. That surely is a sign that you are doing things right.

I appreciate, too, the job you are doing in policing the beer category.
