Magic eraser good but gritty?

Pros: cleans the white on running shoes

Cons: left a very gritty white residue on my walls .had to wash off after.

I think they hyped this product a wee bit much ...glad for the change to try it out ...but vinegar and water and a sponge do just as well for me.I thought it cleaned well on some things? didn't remove the dirt off counter tops.
Falls apart way to easily..one day of use.
And takes paint off the walls and not just dime store paint high quality paint.
