Divers Direct is the only place to shop for SCUBA equipment. As a diver for many years, and repeat customer I can say that I would never shop anywhere else. Their customer service is top notch and I have not talked to more knowledgeable sales staff. The prices are fair, often the cheapest-- and even when their not I still order through them since I know the orders arrive fast. They always tell me its going to take a 6-10 days and it usually takes about 2 or 3 days (you have to pay extra for that elsewhere). Their website is very shoppable, and their catalog is beautiful: tons of awesome photography.
I've only had problems with one order, they sent me the wrong knife. When I called they were extremely friendly, apologized and overnighted me the correct one in time for my trip. Granted, I was p*ssed off, but this shows a true committment to customer service. In a way, it takes a problem to prove how good a company is and Divers Direct passes. I understand that people make mistakes, and knowing that they are going to be corrected properly is what makes me keep coming back.
I hear they're opening a new store pretty soon, under the name World Watersports. I read that it's going to be the largest dive shop anywhere. Check them out for info, I don't really know it: www.diversdirect.com.
