My first epinion and getting a lot of encouragement.
I like think tanks too. I've always thought canon's resolutions are low(most max out at 720X1440) and the BJC 8200 is too $$. Then the S600 came out and blew everyone away.

bought the HP952C but decided on the HP Photosmart P1100. Why? Because of the added slots for memory cards, and that HP was giving $100US back to people for buying it along with one of their Digital Cameras, which I did buy as well.
I've always liked HP, used them at work and school, and in late 1996 I got the HP LaserJet 6P, a wonderful workhorse that I've used almost daily.
