Pros: Great speed. Large capacity HD. CD-RW and DVD included.
Cons: RDRAM upgrade currently expensive. HP pre-installed spyware.
The Bottom Line: Recommend to buy if you're a new PC buyer or upgrading from a Pentium (1) PC.

If you're looking to upgrade from a lower level processor speed to the new P4s this pre-manufactured PC is the best buy. I agree upgrading from a PIII to a P4 is probably not necessary at this time, but if you're still using a Pentium or PII this is the best upgrade for your money. Graphic programs run excellent and you'll be amazed by the difference. The latest memory choice RDRAM is a bit over-rated and expensive, but still good quality. The HP's tower leaves 2 empty bays (1 for cdrom and 1 for floppy) for upgrades, plenty of leg-room on the inside for replacing/upgrading parts. I didn't appreciate the pre-installed HP spyware, but quickly reformatted drive and installed OS from scratch. Oh, and 60gb HD leaves plenty of room for partitioning more than one OS.
