AT&T has got the worst customer experience in any business!!!
Customer service reps are rude, even after the 45 minute wait. One female rep was raising her voice and almost yelled at me-This was from the warranty dept and one guy from Customer Service, on my reply that 60 minute credit was not enough for all the dropped calls due to equipment failure, said if I would have 20 minutes instead.He then went on to kid and laugh about it.
My Siemens phone stopped to work, after 4 mos of operation, well within the one year warranty period. On replacement, I am going to receive a refurbished phone (with to without a face plate-according to the rep!!) and I have to pay an extra $14.99 fee to do that!
The online service hangs, and you cannot go between the tabs,most times.The online service reps can be contacted only at 3AM PST. Do not ever try during daylight hrs!! If you lose or forget your password, you can as well quit trying getting in online. There is no simple way of getting lost passwords-I had to get it after talking to technical assistance at ungodly hours! You cannot update your information online.I have changed my address and have tried updating it-only thing you can do is to update passwords and email.This is nuts! Why provide online service then?
A half a million customers have run from AT&T after the Number Portability option.God bless the FCC. I will do the same,after the rest of my one year contract is over.(Which is the only smart thing I did-I did not sign a 2-yr contract).
AT&T simply put..is the worst company to work with...and I had sprint and verizon before. I went to AT&T for the latest GSM technology and I regret it from the bottom of my heart. Do not touch them!!
