Thanks Suzi. I really like getting the plants this way, but I think they need to shape up in the shipping department as well as allowing for people to have stuff expressed to them.

Did you know Disney doesn't have an 800 number? Something about too many kids calling up and asking to speak to Mickey Mouse. Personally, I think it's cause too many stockholders would be calling them up right now cussing them out for passing up their biggest hit since Pirates of the Caribbean. Heck, I bet they're doing that even if they have to pay for the call....
But you're right, I probably should have taken the refund. I just gave them the benefit of the doubt, especially since I'm pretty sure I've gotten plants from them a few years ago with no problems.
Live and learn. Thanks for the comment Jack!

Thanks - I didn't know that and was going to see if Spring Hill had the plants next year. Oh well. Here it is now almost three weeks and I still haven't received the shipment!
Thanks for the comment!

they have a great concept, but they're having growing pains or whatever. I'd be "bugged" too.
Nice job on the review. Appreciate your objectivity.

Me too... (Reply to this comment)

Spring Hill, Michigan bulb and a bunch of other companies have formed a conglomerate and though they have separate fronts, they're really all the same. Sometimes their prices make their products worth taking a chance on, but in my experience, I've always had to have replacements exactly as you describe. It's too bad that it's hard to find good plants for a good price, especially if you want something other than the "garden variety" (pun intended) stuff at all the garden centers...
Good luck and keep trying, I guess...
