Yeah. Great album--agreed (and reviewed it quite a while ago!). But, still, I do think that Debut is where Bjork really grew into her quirkiness...

I'd start even further back with "Life's too Good" by the Sugarcubes. It's funny listening to something that giddy, and then putting on something as quiet and electronic as "Vespertine". Bjork's come a long way, baby.

Oh yes--no Greatest Hits junk for Bjork. Do, do, do start with Debut and then quickly follow with Post. You won't be disappointed (or at least I can't imagine the person who would be!)

well, i suppose i should start on bjork. my hand swithered over her "best of" thingy a few months back, when it was going cheap. but when an artist's this intriguing, i don't like to waste them by getting a best of. i'd much rather hear them album for album. so, onward!
