My family rarely gets to eat out at restaurants due to our limited income, but The Outback is one I always love to eat at when we can. Recently, my daughter received at school, a certificate for a free meal from the "Joey Menu" in recognition of her great grades. We HAD to take her to show her how proud we are of her, and I was pleased about that! I noticed the staff was friendly from the moment we walked in, but they really impressed me when they found out we had a good student with a certificate! Our waitress came over and congratulated my daughter. Then the guy pouring water came by and cheerfully acknowledged her accomplishment. Throughout dinner, several different staff members took the time to stop by and encourage her, thus impressing me.
The food was delicious, and the portions are generous. Try their Bloomin' Onion appetizer...YUM. The restaurant has a rustic inside appearance, with Aussie decorations like stuffed kangaroos placed strategically throughout. The atmosphere is casual. The whole dining out experience at The Outback was very enjoyable. No rules, Just Right!
