| LILvoyce's Full Review: Ultra Clorox Splashless Liquid Gel Bleach |
I purchased the Clorox Splash-less Liquid gel by accident. I have to tell you that I love it! It is quite a change up from regular bleach, and it has the Clorox name, a name in which I trust.
Description
Clorox Splash-less comes in a 82 fl oz bottle. It looks the same as your regular Clorox bottle. The only difference is the red cap and darker blue labeling. One other thing that was different was the approximate 20 cent difference in price. The Splash-less is just a bit more that the regular Clorox. It is easy to find in the stores and ran me about $1.59. .
Difference between Regular and Splash-less
The splash-less Clorox is actually splash free. I have tested this out on my floors. I held the open bottle of bleach about 3 feet from my floor and bucket and poured a bit in my bucket. I couldn't help myself. I wanted to see if this bleach was truly splash free. My husband thought I was strange, and asked me, "What are you doing woman?!?" I love to play, and test out new products. This product was no exception.
Did Clorox pass the test?
Yes, I am pleased to say that it did! This bleach is called a Liquid Gel. I found it to be more runny compared to any gel I have ever seen. To me it looks like a clear runny glue consistency. I don't really care how it looks, but rather how it cleaned.
The Splash-less Clorox works just as well as the regular Clorox does. If you have problems with splashing your bleach around when you are doing your laundry or cleaning then the few extra dimes for the Splash-less would be ideal for you. I can tell you how many times I have ruined the clothes I was wearing while I was doing the laundry and cleaning. One splash, and your jeans or shirt could be ruined for good.
You can use this bleach diluted with water according to directions on the bottle. I prefer to use straight bleach most of the time, along with a pair of rubber gloves, and a well ventilated room.
My Favorite Uses
I LOVE using this product on my white kitchen counter tops! I like to bleach my counters at least once or twice a week in between general cleaning. In my experience with this product, I was able to pour this bleach right on to the counter tops. I did not have to worry about this product running or dripping off the counter and maybe dripping on my jeans. It was so easy to work with. It works great. I love the ease of use. The bleach went where I wanted it to go. I was impressed.
I am going to start using this in place of my regular bleach. I am a clutz, and the Splash-less Clorox is willing to work with me.
