This is the second Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock I have owned, and it is vastly improved over the first model (the 4000). The first one was very good, but the 6000 is significantly better. For one thing, the 6000 has an improved paper transport system, using better rollers. This ensures the paper is fed correctly. On my 4000, the paper would sometimes stay out the bottom of the tray because there wasn't enough friction to draw the paper into the printer.
The 4000 model also had some dust problems, but I have not noticed this with the 6000.
Another improvement is that the camera dock section now has the LCD face the front of the unit. Now it is much easier to print directly from the camera. The camera and printer controls have also been optimized for direct printing. If you have a non-Kodak camera, you can still use the printer dock by connecting to the dock's USB port.
The print quality is just outstanding. If the cost-per-print were lower, we would be printing a lot more with it. As it stands, though, it's a great printer for printing off four or five prints at a time.
