Wonderful, albeit pricey, chocolates. The shipping is rapid; the descriptive brochure is informative with a touch of whimsy. The flavors tend toward the exotic and some of them will almost necessarily be new to you.
Vosges has a beautiful presentation and makes a superb gift. I sent them out to some people on Christmas and procured some for myself and my family. We didn't exactly come to fisticuffs over them, but were delighted to have a new experience.
The only thing I don't know about is the price: I don't think that they are more expensive than Godiva or Joseph Schmidt, or at least not much, but they are unique and interesting in a way that the larger companies are not. Chocolates such as Aztec chile, or curry, are a delightful change of pace.
If you eat a LOT of chocolate, or purchase a lot, you can join the Vosges "purple points" program and get some at a discount at the end of the year.
Pricey, yes, but well worth it (about $35.00 for a box of 16 truffle style chocolates).
