I went back to every 3rd party controller I ever owned back to the SNES and not a single one really worked well. I guess since Sony and Microsoft do not have any competition then they do not need to make their own. I was very surprised to see Nintendo venture out with the wave bird and boy am I glad they did.

The funny thing is that most controllers not made by the console manufacturer just are not very reliable. It's a shame that Microsoft and Sony don't have their own versions of the GameCube Wavebird.
