That was a little wrong what i said considering that I havent played a lot of Atari or Colevision. But generally I noticed that even first generation NES games had considerable better graphics than anything else at the time [jumping from an Atari to a NES seems similar to the jump between a PS1/N64 to a Dreamcast, im my opinion]. You also have to remember the last generation NES games like Kirby's Adventure [which was released in 1994] which made NES scarily look like a low grade Super NES.

I dunno, Colecovision might have looked like Molly Ringwald next to the NES & it was the first to bring us a good looking Mario game (Donkey Kong).
All kidding aside, this was a great review of a lost classic.
