Not for me ... (Reply to this comment)

Very good review, as always. Thank you. Unfortunately, Belkin F5D7050 USB adapter goes back to Staples tomorrow morning. I just could not make it work with my D-Link DI-624 router. Acquires excellent signal strength (89%) but keeps trying (unsuccessfully) to get the IP. It has no problem connecting to my neighbor's low speed/low signal (40%) Apple AP. My Orinoco Gold a/b/g card has no problem with D-Link router as well as my ThinkPad T42 with built-in Intel a/b/g. I can get two D-Link USB G132 adapters for the price of Belkin ($79.99 + tax). Again, I like it and it might work better with other routers but it doesn't fit in my infrastructure.

I have to tell you... (Reply to this comment)

...skimming my alerts of new reviews, I quickly read yours as "Adding Waterless Capability to your Laptop..." (for someone like me who likes to drink and spill sparkling water while internet surfing, I thought this was a great idea). Looking closer, I found my mistake...it's Wireless, stupid, not waterless! Woops. I had to chuckle out loud. Anyway, great review. Too bad I have a Mac and this is not Mac compatible.

Belkin (Reply to this comment)

I always wondered about Belkin's networking products (not their cables). I've always trusted Linksys and Netgear (and lost faith in D-Link). Great review as always.
