This Mini Fridge is too small for plates of food, but is just right for anything from soda to wine bottles. The inventors of this product call it a "Mini Fridge" but what it is, is a "Temporary Mini Cooler Box." This is nothing like a real refrigerator and doesn't come close to really cold temperatures. Yes, it will make your coke cans nice and cold, but don't expect anything else. Let me stress this: This product works best with liquids only. I tried to put food in it, but boy I got some interesting results. Follow me as I get into this product's cons.

CONS
What happens if you put some pizza in this "Mini Fridge"? Well, lucky for you, I've already tested this out and can warn you. This fridge has good qualities, don't get me wrong. It's just a simple matter of whether the pros come at an expense, which it does. The fridge is a quiet sucker, a big reason why I purchased this (For a dorm enviornment). But this quiet product is quiet because of how it operates. This fridge totally destroyed my beloved food in a matter of hours. It's like a crazy reversal. Have fun having a pizza that smells and tastes like a refrigerator and a refrigerator that smells like a pizza. Now, my experiments may be a little unfair. On this Mini Fridge, it clearly states:Food that remains longer than one hour should be discarded This also applies to its hot setting. So, despite the fact that this is called a "Mini Fridge," it is nothing but a Mini Cooler. Talk about misleading! Now I was mislead before doing this experiment so maybe I shouldn't have ate that pizza. In fact, I should have read the small print which readFAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS FOOD SAFETY WARNING COULD RESULT IN ILLNESS OR DEATH. Lucky for me I didn't die or get ill, lol.

Another obvious con is the water build up. This fridge may barely make things cold enough, but that won't stop it from somehow going against logic and forming ice on the metal screws. After the ice expands from the screws inside the mini fridge, it forms water which you'll have to periodically clean. All in all, these are cons which most do not think about before getting this nice looking fridge.

PROS
Well, its got hot and cold setting. It's a nice looking fridge. It's compact and quiet. But these are all just nice on paper. Get ready for the dissapointments to come.

CONCLUSION
If you like storing coke or liquid and having it cool, this is an okay choice because it's quiet and small. But don't expect this to be a great buy. It's limited in many areas as I explained earlier. This certainly is no fridge but a cooler.

**UPDATE**
It's been almost two years since my purchase of this item. It has major consistancy problems. It did not work at all at one point and so it resides un-used in the closet. Total waste of money. If you want a REAL mini fridge, avoid this Sharper Image hack product. Buy a real fridge.
