The Ericsson T-28 world phone is an incredible phone indeed... as a matter of fact, I am very impressed with the brand Ericsson. So much in fact, that this is my second Ericsson mobile phone.

My initial purchase of the T-28 world phone was prompted by an upcoming vacation to Germany. I knew that my current model Ericsson phone would not work in Europe due to different Digital frequencies that are in use there.

I then went online in search of the perfect mobile phone. The phone would have to be easy to carry, have exceptional sound quality, be a digital phone which works on the GSM digital network, and be a world phone which can switch between different frequencies.

I looked at a Nokia model which was very pricey, I looked at a Motorola model which was also very pricey. I then came across the Ericsson T-28 world which had all the features I was looking for and more!

This phone is awesome! I knew it would be small by looking at the pictures online, but I did not realize how small it really was until I went to a local store to purchase the phone.

I can hide this phone in the palm of my hand! It is very compact with a wide range of awesome features. My favorite is the voice-dialing feature. One can program up to 10 different voice tags into the phone. I have mine programmed so that when I open the flip-top door..the phone prompts me for a voice tag. I can simply say "Home" or "Office" to call those places. The voice dialing feature even works great in noisy environments. Unlike the Nokia phones that have problems handling a lot of background noise. I was at a noisy bar and placed a call while people were holering in the background. Amazing!

I have successfully used this phone in Germany as soon as I stepped off of the airplane. I simply turned it on and it found a local German GSM digital network I could call out and be called on. No hassles! Now, someone in the US could reach me in Germany just by dialing my local telephone number back in the States.

This Ericsson phone also features an improved menu system over previous model Ericsson phones. The display is easy to read and has a very nice blue backlight for night time viewing.

Two games are included (Tetris and Solitaire) , a calculator, stop-watch, alarm clock and timer are also available.

The T-28 world phone comes with an international charger (only two adapters were included)... you may need to purchase additional adapters - all depending on what countries you plan on traveling to.

I have dropped my phone numerous occassions and must say it is very durable...eventhough it may give the opposite appearance due to it having a plastic housing.

People are always amazed when I pull this phone out of my pocket. They cannot believe how small it is!

In closing...I have three words for you. Buy this phone!
