Pros: lots of towing, cheaper than a hummer, and big bed.
Cons: miles per gallon, a few minor problems that co$t, and interior trouble
The Bottom Line: this truck is the best for fishermen, if you have a mobile home, or if you need to haul a lot of things, but isnt good for the average joe

This truck is THE hugest thing that I have ever seen (car wise), and is perfect for what I need to do in a normal day. This truck has everything from a security console, to an area were you can put your sunglasses.
This truck is huge and takes a lot of gas, so if you need a vehicle to drive to work everyday, this isnt it. Also, the power steering fluid has gone out on me once in the 5 months that ive had it, so it isnt all that durable in that department. The big thing that I really like about this truck is that it can tow up to 11,000 pounds, and you would expect so for something this pricey. The bed is 8 feet long, and i think about 3 and a half feet wide, so you can put anything from golf clubs, to a small sized boat in this baby. The gas miles per gallon on (as I call it) The Beast is about 8 city and 10 highway, and is perfect for a fisherman, but definatly not good for a person who likes to go out of state a lot.
Now I was a little worried about this truck after Chevy issued a callback for the 2002 model of the 3500, for the tailgate's supporting wires were being reported broken, but I havent had a problem with it. Also, I havent had a major problem with the engine yet, and am hoping not to for some time, but I have had a problem with interior. There are some plastics that snap into certain areas that dont want so stay in their certain areas. And one more little problem that ive had with the Chevy is that running lights wire has come out once and I hade to get that fixed.
