Pros:Wonderful food, family atmosphere.
Cons:My eyes are often bigger than my stomach.
The Bottom Line: Make sure you're hungry before you go to the Olive Garden. You will feel compelled to eat everything in sight!
The first time I went to the Olive Garden, I immediately fell in love with their food. The only problem was... I barely got to taste it!
When you first arrive, you get your drinks and place your order. Then, once you have selected an entree, you begin eating your unlimited salad and breadsticks.
Both the salad and breadsticks are delicious, and you just keep eating them and eating them (I think the salad dressing may contain an addictive olive oil or something). And then...
your meal arrives. And you think to yourself, "Self, why did you eat all those breadsticks and all that salad?" All is well, though. You manage to get down half of your meal and get a nice take-out container for the other half. After all, it will make a very nice lunch for tomorrow.
My personal favorite would have to be the Chicken Marsala. It is one of my favorite foods. The Tour of Italy is also quite good, but only if you are incredibly hungry. And if you still have room, I do recommend the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer, and the Chocolate Lasagna for dessert.
Now that I have made you hungry, go to your nearest Olive Garden. Bon Appetit!
