We have been renovating our house for the last many months and are finally down to the details (just in case you are looking for the devil - its true: look in the details). One detail that has caused us suprising amounts of frustration is locating a surprisingly elusive chrome flush door pull. We have tried multiple hardware stores and none seemed to carry what we needed. A web search sent me to myknobs.com.
MERCHANDISE
The merchandise on this site is very narrow, yet very deep. They carry interior door pulls and knobs. Oh, they have a few switchplates and some bath hardware but this site is really all about knobs, and they have hundreds of them. Look at it this way, you don't have to join a porn site to see the biggest selection of knobs on the web.
Why would you want new knobs? Well, most new cabinetry comes without knobs, so if you get new kitchen or bath cabinets, you need to search the knobs out on your own. Or, perhaps you purchased cabinetry years ago or want to update your old, inherited cabinetry. In that case, you will find lots of new looks and ways to bring some style into your home on this site. I should mention that the knobs and pulls range in price considerably from a couple of dollars up to over $50 per knob. We needed over 25 for our new kitchen and, even at the lower price range, that can add up considerably.

The site is very well organized and easy to shop. Selections are organized by manufacturer.
ORDERING
The ordering process was very, very simple. I didn't need to choose a password or go through multiple screens.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
I got an email when my order was received and another email when my order shipped.
STEALS AND DEALS
This company offers monthly discount specials. You don't need to search the internet for a code - just look on the web site itself. You can also sign up for emails from the company to be notified of sales.
SHIPPING
Shipping costs are a flat $4.50 per manufacturer. Most likely you will order all of your items from one manufacturer to get a coordinated look. This keeps the shipping costs down.
My items took just over a week to arrive. That isn't too bad but it is not exactly a land speed record either. It seems that several days passed before my items left the warehouse and that added to the delivery time.
PACKAGING
The packaging was very good. My items came in the box from the manufacturer and then were wrapped in another sturdy box for shipping. My items arrived in perfect condition.
FINAL RECOMMENDATION
I thought this was a decent site and easy to shop. If you are looking for a particular piece of hardware or decorating ideas, this is a great site to check out.
