Sorry about the morning sickness. I had five kids and never had it, so thank my lucky stars. I just found out that my oldest daughter is expecting again. I wrote about it in my last review on a great book. Just think of all the baby related reviews you'll be able to write now (grin)!.

...but CONGRATULATIONS on the new addition to the family!

Great review on a nauseating subject. I remember it well. Each of my pregnancies started off with it, however, I was blessed in that I experienced this sickening condition the first day after I got pregnant, only... Honestly!

My doctors were even mystified when I told them I didn't have it anymore after that first day. However, that day I paid dearly. I woke gagging, not able to eat or drink anything except ice cream (not Popsicles, either). It had to be ice cream. It lasted ALL DAY, until I was finally able to actually go to sleep early the next morning. Until then I would not be able to sleep for having to be sick!! The next day, I'd wake and from then on in, NO MORE MORNING SICKNESS.

Happened the first pregnancy. Thought it could have been a fluke. But, the very next time, it repeated. Glad all that's behind me. But, congratulations! to you, again. And, take care of yourself and that baby.

With my last pregnancy the only thing that eased my nausea was peppermints. Not the hard ones, the soft peppermint sticks. I ate those things every time I felt queasy and the feeling would pass. I have since learned that peppermint is an old-fashioned cure for an upset stomach. Good luck!!
