Great Microwave at a Great Price
Written: Jul 25 '04 (Updated Jul 25 '04)
I have had this Microwave for several years now. I am just now writing this review because I only recently found Epinions. I needed a small Microwave that wouldn't take up a lot of room. Enter the Sharp R-209BK. I use it mostly for heating up food and popping popcorn. I have also learned to cook Baked Potato's and Bacon in it also. You have to learn to cook these correctly so they won't over cook or get to tuff. I cook these on a lower power for a longer time, which this model does very easily. It is also good for steaming vegatables. The Sharp R-209BK was just what I was looking for at the right price at just a little over $54.00 This is the first Sharp Microwave that I have ever had but it won't be the last. I use the auto cook options like heating up a TV dinner, Popcorn, Roll or Muffun. I am always forgetting to take something out of the freezer to cook for Dinner but with the Sharps Defrost I no longer have to worry about that.
I highly Recommend this Microwave for anyone who has limited space or on a budget. I have learned that Sharp is a name you can trust.
