Good service, very helpful staff, but they didn't tell me lens was not in stock.

After I ordered on line I got a phone call from Butterfly. I got to speaker to a knowledgeable and helpful sales person. He answered a few question and gave me some good advice. Personal help is hard to find in todays marketplace for cameras. I appreciated the call. They also benefited, because the sales person talked me into buying an extended warranty and a filter kit. I am glad I bought them both. After discussing various lens to go with the D10 body with the sales person I made a selection. It was not as expensive as the lens I had originally intended to buy.
The only thing I was disappointed about was the fact that when I got the equipment the next day (I paid for overnight delivery because I wanted to take pictures of my visiting grandchild the next day)the lens I ordered was not in the shipment. Everything else was and the invoice showed that the lens was not shipped. I called and after a minute wait was connected with the shipping clerk who said the lens was out of stock and they would send it in 4 days. I got it in five days. My problem is that the sales clerk should have checked to make sure it was in stock before I ordered it since I was in a hurry for it. I had to go to Best Buy and buy another lens so I could take pictures while waiting for the other lens. I got a good price on the lens at Best Buy. Now I have a 24-135mm and a 75-200mm. That is all I will need for a while.
