Did you happen to see "Legionnaire" with Jean Claude Van Damme? This movie was so so so bad that when I was working at a video store, we got the preview tape before it even got to the cinemas. The only saving grace with the majority of JCVD schlock is the choreography of the fight scenes, and from a female's perspective, his body. This film, in an attempt to make JCVD into a serious actor, even eliminated these elements. When you have the acting skills of a wet cardboard box, and yet you are expected to carry off a movie about the French Foreign legion, it cannot be good!

I loved Event Horizon - Although I am a huge horror fan so that could have swayed my opinion. There were a lot of great scenes in the movie that really freked me out.
Hudson Hawk - This movie was just original. I don't know why I like it, but I do. Funny in a corny type of way I guess.

BUT you bash two of my favorite guilty pleasures:
Hudson Hawk entertains just by the sheer bizarre absurdity of the whole thing...although it pretty much IS a bad freakin' movie.
Event Horizon I like more every time I see it on cable. It's just so dark and icky!
Minor disagreements aside, I enjoyed this piece quite a bit. Thanks!

event horizon was bad, you shouldve seen "Supernova" it made event horizon look like Schindlers List...
