You're doing a great job at explaining what anime is like.

I'm a total fan of animation, but anime is the only "category" I really can't like: it's technically rather poor, and the plots are either too simplistic, or too cumbersome. Not to mention the humor(when the particular anime isn't to be taken too seriously), which is in level with pre-schoolers...

Perhaps you should explain why despite all these inconvenients, there are still hordes of anime fans who will defend it to the bitter end: I fear for those who will dare to criticise anime "greats" such as Princess Mononoke (which I personally hated)...

...excellent. Your article is great for those new to anime or unaware of its existence in a Disney dominated America. Good show! I'm looking forward to part 2.
