Good review.. However, you state that it does not chop CDs to bits. It does for me. Every CD I put in it got chopped into tiny little pieces, that no one, I mean, no one, could ever reassemble. Are you saying that a CD you run through it comes out intact, with just the surface destroyed? Just thought it may be important for someone looking for CD shredding feature in particular.

No seriously, I'm sorry you have had to replace so much stuff, but this is a much nicer unit and besides, I'm dying to try out that CD part of it.
