| zerocool3333's Full Review: Sony VAIO PCG-340 |
This laptop started as my first computer and to this day I still think it was one of the wisest things I ever bought. It was my second year of college and I decided then that I needed a computer. My first year I just used the lab pc to get my papers wrote. I wanted a laptop that had speed and would last till I at least graduated from college. I was shopping for medium grade laptops that were under two thousand dollars for, as we all know that college students are not made out of money. What I came across were Dell, Toshiba and Sony as my finial chooses. In weighting all my options at that time Sony Vaio PCG-F340 was the best bet. It had the best screen, speed and rebate that made it worthwhile. Now in my second semester of my junior year I still love my Vaio even if it is a little slow now in laptop speed. I have upgraded the RAM to the max at 192mb and it does just fine with typing papers and flying on my colleges T1. Vaio laptops are the way to go. Sony people are smart and with smart people come some great products.
