I signed up for ofoto due to a promotion with amazon. I am glad I only had to pay shipping for the prints I had made, because overall I was very dissatisfied.
A friend has a digital camera, and she emailed me the pictures from some recent parties. I uploaded 25 of these digital pictures to the ofoto site and ordered my prints. The service was very quick, I think I received the pictures in less than a week. However, the colors were not right on several pictures. What should have been a deep blue shirt was dark gray. Some pictures were very pixelated too. This could have been due to the resolution, but they did not look that pixalated on my screen. Also, several pictures they cropped poorly. Overall, I was disappointed and will not be using the service for anything now that my free prints are used up.
Although I did not pay for these prints, the per print cost seemed high to me. Perhaps if the developing is "free" and the only cost is the prints, it not bad. However, $0.50 per print for digital pictures that have been uploaded is kind of high.
I have been much happier with Photoworks.com for essentially the same service.
