Yeah we decided to resort to a walkthrough for that one, it was just too annoying!! (Even then it didn't quite work as it was meant to...)

that little git kept me stumped for days before I solved the problem accidentally and spent the next few weeks trying to figure out how I'd done it. After I'd finished the gane it was a guide that finally revealed what I had done there.
That was the only real humdinger I found from this classic game tho.
