I agree that I didn't go into great detail for many of the films on my list. I am far more detailed, and passionate, about movies that I love. If you look at my other Epinion essay on the best films of 1999, you will see what I mean.
Most of these films were either flat, boring, or both to me, and thus my list is meant far more to politely keep you away, then to delve into what makes them art.

Well, yes you are going to catch some heat. Not just because you gave me a "somewhat helpful" but because you left this comment, and then fled the United States for Canada before I could convince you to move me up to a "Very Helpful"!!
You can tell me that "Black Mask" was made in 1996, but I saw it in a theater, its opening week, in 1999. Obviously this was released in the US only because of Jet Li's star making performance in Lethal Weapon 4. I must stand beside my statement that it was a 1999 film!
And if I did relent to you the fact that I made the mistake of inappropriately listing this as a bad film, I'll be the judge if my list is "the worst of 1999" or "the worst of all time", thank you very much. If I were to name the worst movies of all time, there are far worse than were just released in 1999! Saying that this list is in the wrong category is not a fair basis to rate my list as only "Somewhat Helpful".

...its not too often that I actually leave the theatre during a film, but the Haunting was SO BAD that I was very tempted to do just that. I felt ripped-off because I normally enjoy Liam Neesen, C. Zeta-Jones, and Lily Taylor. But this film....well, you didn't know if it was taking itself seriously or not. Just ridiculous.

But your opinion is supposed to be about the 10 worst movies of 1999.. News Flash, Black Mask was released in 1996, not 1999. So I decided that your opinion didn't provide information on the worst movies of 1999, but of all time. Not to mention that I thought Black Mask was an awesome movie. Anyway, since your opinion is on the worst movies of all time, and not 1999, I also felt that your review was really in the wrong category.
