I ordered a Nikon Coolpix 8700 with an AC adapter and an extra battery last Saturday (8/7/04) from Best Things. They confirmed the order by e-mail right away and the order was sent out on the following Monday via ground UPS. I received the items in perfect condition on Wednesday at my house in the Pittsburgh area.
I paid a little more than I would have from some of the questionable sites on the internet, but I read some of the reviews on Best Things and I was at ease ordering from these people. I liked the fact that their site gave information on the people that started the company.

Ordering from Best Things is like ordering from L.L. Bean or Cabelas. There is nothing to worry about and they are first rate in service.
I have ordered from many companies both out of state over the phone and via the internet over the last 30 years or so, and I know a good company when I see one. A little hint though, when you order ground UPS you can plan on getting your item exactly two days after it is shipped if the item(s) is shipped from your half of the country. I have ordered cigars from J.R. Cigar in N. Carolina many times via ground and I ALWAYS get them exactly two days after shipment. Overnight and 2nd day shipping is a ripoff. It's the same thing when ordering from Cabela's in Nebraska. Two days flat every time to Pittsburgh. If you are waiting long for something it's because it item either hasn't been shipped due to incompetence, or the item is out of stock.
